This message is for families whose children ride the bus. Weston currently has one bus this year Today’s afternoon bus transportation is expected to be similar to yesterday’s. We strongly recommend that families take this information into consideration when making plans for dismissal today. If you would like to make alternate transportation arrangements for your child today, please contact your child’s teacher or the main office as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
Sincerely,
Shawn Baskerville
I am providing families with a map of where your child's teacher will be tomorrow morning for arrival. You will notice the numbers in the map match the numbers on our playground. We will still line up outside even if it is raining. We will try to get the kids in as quickly as possible. This is only for this week.
Please see the attached Traffic Flow Poster to ensure the safety of our students and families.
Our staff is excited to meet our students TODAY! The meet-and-greet for K-4 will begin on the playground. See the map for where your grade level will meet. Teachers will walk students to their new classroom, where they can see the room, meet the teacher, and meet classmates. SEE YOU SOON!
Bus routes are posted. Please go to the Manchester School District website to view the routes. Exception Request Forms are located on the website and MUST BE COMPLETED each year. Click here to access the Manchester School District website. Please reach out to the Transportation Department if you have further questions.
The beginning of the school year is fast approaching. If you have moved out of the district and will not be attending Weston in September, please call Ms. Q at 603-624-6347 or email her at aquiles@mansd.org. Thank you!
Dear Weston Families,
We're excited to welcome your students back and can't wait to see everyone at our Meet Your Teacher event!
When: Wednesday, September 2, 2:00-3:00 pm.
Who: Kindergarten through Grade 4 students. (Pre-K families will have a separate Meet and Greet; details to follow.)
How It Works:
* Class assignments will be finalized by August 21st, in Aspen. Your child's teacher may reach out beforehand so you know exactly who they are before the big day.
*At 2:00 PM, teachers will meet families on the playground, then walk together to the classroom.
*If you're unable to make it right at 2:00, no problem! Staff will be stationed at the main entrance to help guide you to your child's classroom.
COME AND GO AS YOU PLEASE
We've set aside a full hour, but please don't feel you need to stay the whole time. Swing by whenever works for you to see the classroom, meet the teacher, and say hello to classmates.
WHAT TO BRING
Feel free to bring school supplies with you! Dropping them off now means everything will be sorted and ready to go on the first day.
GRADE LEVEL COLOR
Just for fun, each grade level has a color to represent. It's completely optional, but we always love seeing our Wolverines show their grade level spirit!
QUESTIONS? Reach out to Ms. Huard at jmhuard@mansd.org
We can't wait to see you there!
