Our first ALL-SCHOOL MEETING will be on Wednesday. These assemblies give our school a chance to come together to recognize and celebrate the learning that happens here at Weston. Please have students wear their grade-level color at all monthly all-school meetings. Attached is a flyer with the specific colors. Show your school spirit on Wednesday!

On Friday, administration met with the Manchester Police Department, the Traffic Department, and the assistant superintendent to discuss the morning drop-off challenges. The Manchester Police Department and Traffic Department have removed all on-street parking on Hanover Street from 7:30-9:00 am. This will become a right-turn-only lane onto Michigan Ave. Cars will still proceed up Michigan Ave to the already established drop-off locations. Please pull all the way up to the corner of Michigan and Briar so we can get as many cars as possible off Hanover Street at a time. The drop-off locations have not changed. The Manchester Police Department will be on site Monday morning. Please see the attached map. We will review these changes to see whether they help increase safety. Thank you for your patience while we work diligently to find a resolution.

Good morning,
We are working to clear up any confusion about morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
In the MORNING: Parents stay in their cars; teachers will open car doors and help your child out when you pull up to Michigan or Briar.
In the AFTERNOON: Grades 1-4 parents wait on the basketball court to pick up their child. Kindergarten families line up at the designated signs.

Reminder: For drop-off today, parents are not coming onto the playground. Staff will be on the sidewalks on Michigan and Briar to open car doors and help children out. Parents, please do not get out of your vehicle. Staff will be by the school doors to support students as they get to their classrooms. Beaver St. is for buses only. Please do not drop off students in the front parking lot unless you are tardy. Your patience and support during these first few days are GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Dear Weston Bus Families,
This message is for families whose children ride the bus. Weston currently has one bus this year Today’s afternoon bus transportation is expected to be similar to yesterday’s. We strongly recommend that families take this information into consideration when making plans for dismissal today. If you would like to make alternate transportation arrangements for your child today, please contact your child’s teacher or the main office as soon as possible.
