Weston

Grade 3 & Grade 4 students will be taking the New Hampshire Statewide Assessment System (NHSAS) Summative Assessment starting at the end of April. We encourage students to get a good night’s sleep, eat a nutritious breakfast, and arrive on time for school on testing days (schedule below). Score reports will be sent home when all testing is completed. A letter will also be sent home with instructions for accessing scores online via the NHSAS Family Portal.

The 2026 Summer Food Program runs Monday-Friday, June 24-August 26, 2026. It is closed on July 3 & 10. This federally funded, state administered program provides healthy meals and snacks to children 18 and under. There are no income requirements for the program, and meals are provided free of charge.

Please be sure to come dressed and prepared for water day tomorrow. It is supposed to be a gorgeous, hot, sunny day, so please be sure that all sunscreen is applied before you come to school. Don't forget water bottles to stay hydrated. We are looking forward to this fun filled day!

Students in Grade 3 and Grade 4 have completed the NH-SAS Math and ELA Summative assessments. Paper copies of the score reports will be sent home with end-of-year report cards. Directions for accessing the reports online via the state's NHSAS Family Portal were sent home in April and will be posted on our website this week.

Grade 4 will have their rescheduled STEP UP day at McLaughlin TODAY. We are expected to be there for 9:00 am. and should return to Weston around 10:00 am.

McLaughlin Informational Event for Incoming 5th Graders is TONIGHT. On Wednesday, May 27th, from 6:00-7:00 pm in the cafeteria, students and families are invited to join. If you can't make tonight's event, Saturday, May 30th, they will host another event from 10:00-11:00. Sorry for the late notice; we just found out about this at 2:43!

Kindergarten Orientation is tomorrow! We hope to see incoming Kindergarten families at 6:00 in the gym.
