BINGO NIGHT TONIGHT!
Hello Families,
Just a quick and friendly reminder that BINGO Night is tonight!!! We’re excited to see everyone for an evening filled with fun and fantastic prizes. This year, we’re thrilled to announce some new additions to our BINGO book prize pool: French books to support our French learners, Spanish books, and for the grand finale, two Grand Prize Kindle Kids will be up for grabs!
But that’s not all! Our raffle prizes include:
Kindle Kids Paperwhite
Car washes at Golden Nozzle,
Passes to Funspot
Dave & Busters
a session at You’re Fired,
a chance to be Principal for the Day,
Reserved seating for 4th Grade Graduation.
There’s something for everyone, so don’t miss out!
We’ll also have support for the Read-a-thon platform available during BINGO Night. To make tracking reading time easier for everyone, we’ve added an additional paper log to our electronic platform. Please use these logs to track your student’s reading time, and be sure to return them to the office by April 1st.
A quick fundraising update—we’re currently at 32% of our goal, with only 8 classes participating of out of 23. Let’s rally together and aim higher!
And speaking of rallying, our reading goal has been increased twice! We crushed our first goal of 3,000 minutes, soared past 7,000, and now we’re aiming for an incredible 12,000 minutes. Fantastic effort, everyone! However, only 81 students are participating out of 430. Let’s encourage more readers to join the fun and reach our biggest goal yet. Do we need to up our minutes to 20,000?!?!
Thank you for your enthusiasm and support. We can’t wait to celebrate with you at BINGO Night and see our reading achievements continue to grow!
See you soon,
Weston PTO
Please see message regarding PRE-K drop off.
Dear parents,
We understand that drop off can be frustrating at times. We are sending this reminder out of the steps that need to be taken. When you arrive to school please pull up to the car in front of you on Michigan Ave. Parents are to stay to the right side of the road and follow the flow of the traffic. Once your car is either next to or past the gate area one of the teachers will take your child out of your car. Busses are allowed to pass parents cars on the left. You are welcome to park your car further past the school on Michigan Ave or on Briar Ave and walk your child over to the gate. If we all work together in a positive way we will all have a smooth transition to school which is our number one priority for all of the children. As always please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
