If your child is assigned to a posted bus route, you will receive a district communication directing you to check the website once the current routes are posted. If your child will not be riding the bus or if your information is incorrect or has changed, please contact your child's school.

It is recommended that students be at their stops ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled stop time. Parents please note: bus arrival times may vary slightly due to weather, road conditions, or traffic.

Students must meet the bus at the bus stop when it arrives. Parents, if you wait with your children in the car or in your home, please ensure they are ready to go when they see the bus approaching. Delays in students arriving at the bus stop will cause lateness for all children on the bus.

School Food and Nutrition Services—Welcome Back to School!

We’re happy to extend a warm welcome to Manchester students and their families from your School Food and Nutrition Services Department! Our mission is to alleviate childhood hunger within the community and increase student success by providing and promoting a nutritionally balanced diet in a warm and friendly environment. We’re sensitive to the various nutritional needs of our students—if your child has an allergy to any food, please contact your school nurse.

The USDA’s Universal Free Meals program, which provided free meals to all students, expired on June 30th, 2022. To determine your eligibility to continue receiving free or reduced price meals for your child, you’re now required to submit an application via the link below:

Student Meal Accounts

Purchasing a meal is easy via pesonal ID card. Funds can be added to your child’s meal account via the My School Bucks link below.

Elementary: Students will have personal ID cards in their classroom on the first day of school that will allow access to their meal account. Elementary students are instructed to grab their card before lunch each day if they are having school lunch.

Payments to your students account can be done at the point of service by cash, check, or money order made out to SFNS directly at your student’s school or by online payment through www.myschoolbucks.com (transaction fees apply to make online payments). There is no cost to utilize myschoolbucks.com for tracking meal purchases and setting balance alerts.

Even though meals are now free for all students, it is still extremely important to fill out a free and reduced meal application if you feel you may qualify for this program. District funding for much needed educational services is tied to the percentage of students who qualify for free or reduced- price meals.
